Wake Up, You Jerk Bastard!

Spain stumbled around the corner, the hand not carrying his ax over a stomach wound. Blood soaked the fabric underneath his armor. He groaned quietly, completely sapped of energy. The wounded country dropped to his knees, and eventually to the ground. The ax was left inches from his reach. 

Romano huffed as he emerged from his hiding spot. That's just great, he thought, Spain is down again! Romano went over to the bigger country and kicked the plate skirt around his waist. 

Romano: Get up you jerk bastard! The war isn't over!

Romano stopped abruptly as he saw just how bad of a shape Spain was in. He placed a hand on the country gently, leaning in.

Romano: Spain? 

Spain tried to get up but found the attempt to be in vain. He winced as he dropped back to the ground.

Spain: Lo siento, mi hermano... I am spent.

Romano huffed, but gasped quietly as Spain's body settled after his eyes closed.

Romano: Hey.. Spain.. you have to get up now, you jerk bastard... 

He shook the fallen country. After getting no results, Romano shook him more violently.

Romano: I said get up! Get up now!!... Please...
